Dusty Henricksen
At just 20 years old, Dusty Henricksen has already made waves across the snowboard community. Riding since the age of two, when he first strapped into a board at Big Bear Mountain. Eventually the family relocated to Mammoth, where Henricksen quickly earned a spot on the USA Snowboard Rookie Team and hasn’t stopped progressing since.
2020 was Dusty’s breakout year, which he started by winning the gold medal at the Youth Olympic Games in Switzerland. He went on to take home a respectable second place at one of the most prestigious events in snowboarding, Burton’s US Open.
In 2021, a 17-year-old Henricksen took home double gold from the first-ever X Games he competed in and became the first American to win the event’s slopestyle competition since Shaun White in 2009.
Today, Henricksen is considered one of the top contenders for Team USA to take home gold at the next Olympics. Perhaps more importantly, he puts style and fun before anything, a fact that’s helped him earn the credibility and respect from the entire snowboard community.
