Mikey Ciccarelli

When he was six years old Mikey Ciccarelli tricked his parents into buying him a snowboard. Life for Mikey would never be the same. Cutting his teeth on the icy slopes of Ontario’s Georgian Peaks, early on he focused  his efforts on slopestyle with high hopes of competing on an elite level someday.

Ciccarelli broke onto the scene in 2012, taking home gold for Canada at the Youth Olympic Games in Innsbruck, Austria. It didn’t take long before he found himself on podiums at World Cup events, the US Open and Grand Prix. In 2017, Ciccarelli finished second to fellow Canadian Mark McMorris at the Burton US Open.

With all the competitive successes, most recently Ciccarelli has refocused his energy and passion on big mountain, backcountry snowboarding.  A testament to his talent, he’s scored a part in the Burton Snowboards film “One World,” followed by strong segments in the “King Snow Films” and “ARK.” Ciccarelli was invited to compete in the Natural Selection Tour in 2023.
