FRAMEWOrk at Summer X-Games

August 15, 2023

The Framework crew showed up strong at the Summer X Games.  X Games returned to Southern California with its new host city of Ventura at the famous Ventura County Fairgrounds. For the first time since 2019 X Games was back to having in person attendance and had a record 20K fans onsite each day throughout the weekend.  With the ocean in background the vibes were high as the x Games returned to California.

Framework athletes Chris Joslin, Marian Duran, Braden Hoban and Ruby Lily were all competing in the skateboard competitions.  Chris Joslin, Mariah Duran and Braden Hoban were all putting in double duty competing in both the skateboard street event as well as the best trick competition. Also doing double duty was Ruby Lily who competed in both skateboard park as well as the vert event.

Braden Hoban had a great weekend celebrating his 22nd birthday and with his whole family cheering him on all weekend he won his first ever X Games medal with a silver in Skateboard Best Trick.    Mariah Duran added another X Games medal to her trophy case bringing home the gold in Skateboard Best Trick.  X Games has always been the pinnacle event in Action Sports and to see it have over 50K fans in attendance all weekend watching the best athletes in the world compete on the highest stage was a huge win for the action sports community.

Overall, it was a great weekend for Framework and the Action Sports Industry.
