Raibu Katayama

Raibu Katayama made his first big showing on the international competition scene when he won the Audi Quattro Winter Games in 2015. Just getting started, he went on to make the finals at the Burton US Open in 2017, finishing 5th, then improved to 2nd at both the 2018 and 2019 US Open competitions.

Known for boosting massive airs, Katayama was voted one of the top riders at the 2022 Peace Park event–thanks largely to the huge backside airs he was boosting off the hip. His goal is to become a stand out free rider while bringing home major event wins for Japan.

In the off season, Katayama likes to skateboard, snowboard the in-door half-pipes in Japan and hang with friends and family.
