When Steven Ruff dedicates himself to something, there’s no question it’s going to get done…and blow away all expectations in the process. A Southern California native, after high school Ruff followed his dreams of becoming a pro snowboarder to Big Bear. A snow and skate devotee from the jump, he supplemented his existence on the hill by working in core shops.

When the competitive chapter of his career ended, Ruff settled into a role as Head of Snow Sports for Dragon Optical, before building the athlete team for Forum Snowboards, one of the most influential snowboard companies on the planet.

After his time at Forum, he joined Wasserman Media Group to further his desire to work more closely with athletes and help manage their careers. A natural at managing athlete contracts, Ruff shines at fostering deep and lasting relationships with his clients. After 17 years at Wasserman, Ruff decided it was time to bet on himself. Launching Framework in 2022, the new-age agency is here to bring creativity and excitement to the action sports industry.
