October 9, 2023
Last weekend, 16-year-old Gavin Bottger secured his first ever WST Park World Championship title at The Spot Skatepark in Rome Italy.
With a commanding score of 94.03, Gavin pulled it all together with a nearly flawless third and final run that left him standing atop the podium. Following the win, Gavin is now ranked 4th overall in the World and the 3rd overall American.
16-year-old Ruby Lilley improved on a 17th place finish at last year’s World Championships with an impressive 7th place final result. This was her best career finish at a World Championships to date and she is now the 3rd ranked American in the WST standings.
With a maximum of three skateboarders per gender, per country whom can qualify for the Olympic Games, Framework is excited to continue to watch Gavin and Ruby as clear threats and medal contenders on their #RoadToParis2024.
